August 20, 2016, 5:45 am - 10:00 pm

EVENT DETAILS
Sky Island Alliance is working with the National Park Service to develop pollinator gardens at Tumacacori National Historical Park, and we would like to understand better the species of insect pollinators that currently occur at the park. Species experts will be on hand, and everyone is welcome to attend – no experience is necessary!

TO REGISTER, CLICK HERE!

Learn how to use your cell phone to make species observations using the iNaturalist app. Observations will be logged in the Park’s iNaturalist Project Page: https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/plants-of-tumacacori-national-historical-park.

SCHEDULE

Saturday, August 20: Arrive at the Park as early as sunrise (5:45am). We will break up into groups by location and/or expertise, and make observations of all insects (and other biota!) possible. Depending on participation, we may take a siesta and then work through the evening to make observations of night-active species.

RAIN DATE = Saturday, August 27

Join us for the whole event, or a portion. We look forward to learning more about the pollinators at Tumacacori National Historical Park!
