March 3, 2018
Sky Island Alliance is participating in the 2018 Border BioBlitz, a one-day communal citizen-science effort to record as many species as possible along a 1-km stretch on each side of the U.S.-Mexico border. We’ll need your help to record information in iNaturalist, and a small group will be needed to help with springs assessments at Rancho San Bernardino, west of Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico. Mark your calendar for this amazing day of citizen science and community!
Meet at the Agua Prieta Autozone at 9:00 AM. (March 3rd)
Rancho San Bernardino: Left turn – Km 132 on Highway 2, west of Agua Prieta, Sonora.
CARPOOL OPTIONS MAY BECOME AVAILABLE. STAY TUNED.
The Border BioBlitz is a flexible, family friendly event. We will be documenting biodiversity on iNaturalist project Border BioBlitz one Km from the border all day long. Join us for part of the day or stay the night and camp out with us.
