Help us continue our work to remove invasive plants from this amazingly diverse canyon. We will be taking out vinca and installing native plants that provide important resources for wildlife.
Join Sky Island Alliance as we help the park with their cottonwood and willow planting efforts. We will be watering new plants, assessing the condition of the plants, weeding around the new trees, and building/maintaining basins at the base of the trees to hold water.

Join us for a four-day get-away in a spectacular Sky Island setting with Sky Island Alliance staff and regional guest experts. Participants gain hands-on field instruction and theory in a variety of tracking skills and techniques.
This weekend, we will be hoping to finish up our assessments of springs in preparation for controlled burns that will be conducted in the area in May and June. It is unknown how fire affects spring ecosystems, so this trip will be focused on collecting baseline information on springs before fire.
