I want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to every one of you who gave your time, sent a donation, became a monthly supporter or Forever Fund donor, took action by submitting comments or calling your representatives, joined our email list, and/or helped share the beauty and treasure of the Sky Islands with your friends, family, and the world last year.
Your outpouring of love for the Sky Islands kept us going strong!
We faced challenges like we never could have imagined both as an organization and as a region, and you were right there with us, helping us weather the changes while continuing to stand strong for wildlife and nature, be a fierce voice for protecting the Sky Islands, and strengthen our cross-border work in the U.S. and Mexico. You also kept our spirits up with your messages of support and why you love the Sky Islands.
You kept our fire burning last year with an outpouring of donations that brought us to a strong financial position and helped us be responsive to current events. We are thrilled to share that we raised more than $170,000 in our year-end campaign, and we significantly exceeded our annual campaign goal, which will help offset lost federal funds. I hope to connect with you this year as we celebrate 35 years of protecting the vast diversity of life in the Sky Islands and keeping wildlife connected and thriving. We’ve come a long way together.
