Need an easy Halloween costume? Or just want to try your hand at a Sky Island craft?
Check out our new paper animal masks!
Meagan Bethel, our wildlife specialist, has created four paper masks based on her felt coati mask from 2020. They represent a white-nosed coati, bobcat, diamondback rattlesnake, and pronghorn.
These simple templates are made to be printed on 8.5 x 11 inch paper. Color them however you like and then cut out the gray eye holes and the outer line. Make your mask wearable by either punching a hole and tying a string or taping it down on the back.
If you make a mask using these templates, we’d love to see them! Tag us @skyislandalliance
Want to make something three-dimensional? Check out our cardboard javelina mask tutorial.
These patterns are free for personal, educational, editorial, or non-commercial use.
