In this webinar, Wildlife Specialist Meagan Bethel will walk you through how to join our growing wildlife monitoring network, Sky Island FotoFauna! With ~200 volunteer cameras operating in the Sky Island region, you’ll become part of a community science project that strives to better understand and protect our regional wildlife.
You’ll learn why FotoFauna is so important for monitoring the regional movements of wildlife species for conservation and how you can help grow our binational FotoFauna network of many volunteers and partners. Then, we’ll walk you through how to select a camera that’s best for you, how to find a good location in your backyard, and how to submit your findings at the end of each month.
