Our guest speakers are climate experts Mike Crimmins and Zack Guido from the University of Arizona. Their presentation will review how this year’s monsoon evolved across the U.S. Southwest from June through September, highlighting key precipitation patterns, temperature anomalies, and notable shifts. Then they’ll turn to the strong El Niño now developing and what it may mean for precipitation, temperature, drought, and other climate impacts across our region during the upcoming fall and winter.
