Every year the monsoon captivates all of us here in the Sky Island region. When the dew point reaches 54 degrees for three days straight (meaning there’s enough moisture in the air to generate thunderstorms), our ears prick up and every part of our bodies tells us it’s time. To look to the sky. To anticipate the lifegiving rain. To bring down the clouds. So this year our SIA staff decided to do something special to commemorate the monsoon season, which runs from June 15 to Sept. 30. We pulled together some of our favorite moments, as you can see in the story map below (also available in full screen). We hope you enjoy!
