In 2002, Sky Island Alliance initiated a study for this important wildlife corridor just east of Tucson. Since then, we have deployed trained volunteers to conduct seasonal surveys along a 1.5-mile transect in both north and south Davidson Canyon. We have also added remote wildlife cameras at spring sites north and south of the highway. Results will be shared periodically as they become available.
