Tika Arnold

Tika ArnoldCommunity Coordinator

Pronouns: She/Her/Ella

Tika joined Sky Island Alliance in 2026 as the community coordinator. Her role is embedded in Saguaro National Park where she develops, implements, and expands the volunteer-based fuels-reduction program to support wildfire risk mitigation and educate the community about invasive species. Before joining the team, Tika was an environmental educator with Saguaro National Park and spent a season with its Resource Management division focusing on invasive species and wilderness connectivity.

Tika was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. She grew up with strong values of respecting and learning from nature, which established a deep connection to the natural world. This sparked a passion at a young age to give back to the natural world and to be a voice for its care. As she got older, she followed that passion to the Southwest Conservation Corps. This is where her love of fieldwork took root and she discovered the importance of bridging the gap between people and nature. She continues that mission today.

Tika looks forward to connecting, inspiring, and educating the community on what they can do to help protect our beautiful Sonoran Desert.
