I am originally from Naco, Sonora, and I’m currently studying at the Universidad de la Sierra in Moctezuma, Sonora. I am deeply interested in conservation and ecology, areas in which I seek to continue developing.
I have participated in reptile handling and first aid workshops, which has enriched my perspective on wildlife care. In addition, I have experience as an adjunct professor, supporting in the area of animal biology, a task that allowed me to learn and share knowledge.
I consider myself a creative person with a desire to learn. I had the opportunity to participate as an intern with Sky Island Alliance in the area of soil conservation on ranches in my area, an experience that left me fascinated.
I met Sky Island Alliance during a festival in Moctezuma, Sonora, where I was struck by the work they do. Now, after collaborating with them, I feel very fortunate and grateful for the learning and experiences gained.
