Megan Wicker

Megan Wicker supports the organization’s growth and efficiency through strategic development and operational management. Before stepping into this role, Megan helped support the organization’s finances, where she gained valuable insight into Sky Island Alliance’s operations and mission. It was through that work that Megan fell in love with SIA’s dedication to conservation and wanted to be a part of it on a larger scale.

Megan has had the privilege of partnering with a wide range of nonprofits over the years, from small grassroots organizations to established community-focused groups, gaining valuable insight into the unique challenges and opportunities each one faces. Her passion lies in helping mission-driven organizations thrive by strengthening their financial systems, ensuring efficient reporting, and providing seamless operational support.

Megan believes the work Sky Island Alliance is doing is vital to preserving and protecting the region’s native plants and wildlife. When she first learned about the Border Wildlife Study and how the border wall disrupts critical migration routes, she became deeply inspired to contribute to the organization’s mission and help amplify its impact.

In her free time, Megan enjoys getting lost in a good novel, spending time with her husband at their family home in Mexico, and spoiling her dog, Roscoe.
