My name is McKinsey Tighe, and I’m from McAlester, Oklahoma.
I came to Tucson to attend the University of Arizona, where I’m currently studying Natural Resources with an emphasis in Conservation Biology. I’ve been in Tucson for less than a year, but I’ve already been blown away by how incredibly beautiful and rich the ecosystems here are.
My passion for protecting and nurturing the Earth led me to an internship with Sky Island Alliance, where I’m currently working as a Wildlife Intern. I’ll be helping review and sort camera footage and contributing to a growing understanding of Arizona’s wildlife and habitats. I’m excited to learn all about the Sky Islands through this internship!
