My name is Jimena Ballesteros, I live in Moctezuma, Sonora, and I study biology at the Universidad de la Sierra.
My interest in this internship began with CONANP’s collaboration in Mexico with the National Park Service in the United States, and specifically in their focus on the Sky Islands. I’m excited to be able to help with this unique conservation and adventure experience throughout this summer, inspiring local communities and tourists to protect and appreciate nature in this special region.
