My name is Estefani Guadalupe Moyers Medina. I was born and raised in Cananea, Sonora. And I’m currently studying biology at the Universidad de la Sierra.
I’m fascinated by all things related to wildlife, especially mammals and birds. I’ve also participated in wildlife photo workshops and am looking forward to helping with Sky Island Alliance’s FotoFauna project.
I consider myself an active person with many interests — someone who likes to learn, work and share with others a little of my knowledge.
I have collaborated with SIA since 2022 within the “Protectoras de la Sierra” project, which does conservation on Sonoran ranches and outreach to nearby towns. With this internship, I hope to be able to put into practice some of the things I’ve learned, as well as gain new knowledge in areas I haven’t yet mastered.
