In the final days of the Trump administration, new construction contracts are being signed for wall construction and border habitat damage is proceeding at a breakneck pace in the Sky Island region. Wall construction is accelerating through both the Huachuca and Patagonia Mountains, with massive road grading and wall installation along more than 6 miles.

Construction must be immediately halted and the whole project brought under review.

Act now! Call Arizona Senators Kyrsten Sinema and Mark Kelley.

We need our Senators in Arizona to step up and work with their colleagues to demand an immediate halt to all border wall construction and bring contracts under review, to hold the  Department of Homeland Security and Customs and Border Patrol accountable, and to take action to study and restore the profound damage it has caused to wildlife, natural areas, and Native Nations.

Hello. My name is _____ and I’m calling to urge you to take immediate action to halt all border wall construction in Arizona’s stunning Sky Island mountains. I urge you to demand accountability from the Department of Homeland Security and Customs and Border Patrol, and request they halt border wall construction and begin a real review of the profound social, environmental and economic damage it is causing. The roads and border wall being built at a breakneck pace is destroying Indigenous sacred sites and our national treasures: National Wildlife Refuges, National Memorials, National Forests, and a National Conservation Area.
